Tarrazu
A coffee with a rich aroma of apricots and orange, followed by deep flavours of brown sugar and molasses.
The Tarrazu region produces some of the best Costa Rican coffee around on a consistent basis. The capital of Sans Marcos is around 1,350 metres above sea level, but the surrounding mountains go up to 1,700 metres, allowing for very high altitudes and development of the very best coffees.
The Tarrazu region is located in the country’s interior mountains, with a minimum altitude of 1,200 metres, and the best coffees from this area are known to be relatively heavy-bodied, exhibiting a complex aroma. Nearly all Tarrazu coffees are Strictly High Grown.

This is the richest and most balanced roast I have found in Scotland so far. It is DARK for real (not the very light roasts you often get with third wave coffee), but it is not bitter.
I have ordered from Artisan Roast in the past but I will be sticking to The Craftsman from now on. Better priced, greater variety of roasts, and local.
