We’re searching for a creative, reliable, and hard-working person to join our culinary expedition.

Reporting to the Head Chef (ahem who just placed 3rd in the North East Scotland Chef and Restaurant of the Year Awards!), you’ll have an influence on; the direction of our menu, and the development of a uniquely artisan experience for our customers. Our Chef will be responsible for upholding The Craftsman brand and reputation using their great dexterity and skill to create something of unique value for our customers.

It’s essential that our Chef is someone with great ideas and great potential, who loves food, and is passionate about presentation, and the integrity of ingredients.

The usual requirements apply such as relevant experience of working in a kitchen, as well as qualifications and evidence of food safety standards. It’s not crucial that the person is fully qualified, but it would be desirable that they would have the intention to become so. A competent cook with a passion for food is essential.
